Thank you for visiting our website! As one of the leading Philadelphia home care agencies, we want to make sure our home care clients and their families feel comfortable with the people and level of care they receive.

One of the best ways to build rapport and trust is to get to know a person better! With that in mind, we wanted to introduce you to the staff of Pennsylvania Agency of Nurses. While the staff won’t necessarily be the personnel providing in home care services to your family, they are an integral part of our team, and set the tone for the services we provide to Philadelphia families. (If you’d like to “meet” our caregivers, visit our Caregiver Profile page!)

Let’s meet Michele, one of the Scheduling Supervisors for PA Agency of Nurses!Michele-in-home-care-pennsylvania.png

Michele started her career with PAN in 2009 as the administrative assistant. She was a quick study, and her excellent customer service and organizational skills led to her position as one of PAN’s two scheduling supervisors (meet the other here). In this role, she is in charge of managing and maintaining daily schedules for in home caregivers and clients alike. Because our scheduling supervisors are so familiar with PAN caregivers, they are well equipped to match clients with an in home caregiver who suits their needs, preferences, and personality. (Read more about the client-caregiver matching process.) In this role, Michele is known for her excellence in customer service to both clients and employees.

What is most important to you in your role at Pennsylvania Agency of Nurses?

“One of my most important duties is to understand and acknowledge the responsibilities of PAN caregivers and family members who have been acting as caregivers. At times, this can be stressful and emotional for people, and I am always willing to listen and relate to what they are going through.” Michele’s level of support is representative of the same care and dedication all of our employees share for our clients. (See what our clients have to say about our service level!)

Why is home care an important component of the overall healthcare industry?

“In home care is important to help the family caregiver cope with the increased demands of trying to balance their responsibilities to themselves, as well as the needs of their loved one.” Making the decision to hire in home care can be one of the most difficult choices for families where members are transitioning between different phases of life. Michele also emphasizes that in home care for a loved one “…can be designed to fit their needs. No contracts, No commitments, No worries!” This sort of flexibility can be very attractive to families with varying requirements for care.
