Thank you for visiting our website! As one of the leading Philadelphia home care agencies, we want to make sure our home care clients and their families feel comfortable with the people and level of care they receive.

One of the best ways to build rapport and trust is to get to know a person better! With that in mind, we wanted to introduce you to the staff of Pennsylvania Agency of Nurses. While the staff won’t necessarily be the personnel providing in home care services to your family, they are an integral part of our team, and set the tone for the services we provide to Philadelphia families. (If you’d like to “meet” our caregivers, visit our Caregiver Profile page!)

Let’s meet Susan, the Administrative Assistant for PA Agency of Nurses!in home care philadelphia caregiver profiles susan senior care philadelphia

Susan began working for Pennsylvania Agency of Nurses a year ago, after a career with Boeing and taking time to raise children and care for elderly parents. The experience of caring for her father and mother in turn inspired her to join the home care industry, and she has been a wonderful addition to our staff! In her own words, Susan says “My experience caring for my own parents has made working in home care a comfortable fit for me. I am dedicated to providing quality assistance with the utmost respect and care to our clients, caregivers and office staff.” As the Administrative Assistant, Susan is responsible for keeping the office running smoothly, and ensuring that clerical, organizational, and support tasks are completed.

What is one thing you wish Philadelphia families knew about in home care?

“Home health care can ensure your loved one is getting one on one personalized care in the comfort of their home as well as providing your family peace of mind. Most of the caregivers I meet have warm hearts and a desire to help others…I have seen amazing bonds form between some of our clients and their caregivers.” What Susan has seen is fairly typical for PAN client-caregiver relationships – we take special care to match personalities, skill sets, preferences, competence, and more when assigning our caregivers to a case. To read what some of our clients have to say about the bonds developed between PAN caregivers and loved ones, read our Client Testimonials!

Helping family members to stay safe and comfortable in a familiar environment has benefits for all involved. Family members have peace of mind (which is hard to put a price on!), and clients are treated with dignity, competence, compassion, and respect. Susan holds an Associates Degree in Business Management, and previously spent 10 years with Boeing. She and her husband have raised a daughter and son in Delaware County, and she has cared for both of her parents in turn.
