Thank you for visiting our website! As one of the leading Philadelphia home care agencies, we want to make sure our home care clients and their families feel comfortable with the people and level of care they receive.

One of the best ways to build rapport and trust is to get to know a person better! With that in mind, we wanted to introduce you to the staff of Pennsylvania Agency of Nurses. While the staff won’t necessarily be the personnel providing in home care services to your family, they are an integral part of our team, and set the tone for the services we provide to Philadelphia families. (If you’d like to “meet” our caregivers, visit our Caregiver Profile page!)

Let’s meet Monica, the On-Call Supervisor for PA Agency of Nurses!philadelphia in home care caregiver profile monica

As one of the On-Call Supervisors for Pennsylvania Agency of Nurses, Monica fills a critical role by enabling us to meet the needs of our clients and caregivers on a 24-hour basis. You never know when an emergency might occur, and Monica helps to coordinate care in the instances when an event occurs and the office is closed. This round-the-clock care coordination goes a long way towards easing the minds of clients, families, and caregivers alike!

Monica has an Associates Degree in Applied Health Sciences, as well as a Medical Assistant Certification. Her past positions include working as a medical assistant and office coordinator at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, as well as instructing the Medical Assistant Program at a local technical school, where she trained MA students in a skilled clinical lab. This unique skill set is a great fit for the PAN team, and ensure we provide top-notch client-centered care.

What is most important to you in your role at Pennsylvania Agency of Nurses?

“The most important part of my role as an On Call Supervisor is being available 24/7 for our clients, families of clients, and our caregivers in the event of a simple question, a concern, or an emergency. I’m always happy to help a client or caregiver, any time of day.”

What is one thing you wish Philadelphia families knew about home care?

Monica says that “one thing that I wish families knew about home care is that it’s not just for senior citizens or those with medical problems. Sometimes families are under the impression that in home health care is only needed only for skilled medical help in the home, which is not the case. PAN caregivers can offer assistance with daily living routines, laundry, light house keeping, meal preparation, transportation to doctor visits, and medication reminders. We also have skilled medical staff as well, to help with medical needs of clients if needed. In home care can be a great option to help families of clients who need some extra assistance taking care of a loved one, or some sense of security helping a loved one who lives alone.”
