Share a favorite memory from home care:

One of my favorite memories is from when I was working for a difficult client, and I was doing the best I could. He said to me, “You are a fine person, you never complained and you are always understanding the other side of things.” When he said that, I was very happy, it meant a lot to me. It was good to be validated by the client.

What is the most difficult part of your job?

Taking care of people with certain disabilities can be challenging, because they’re not always aware of what they’re doing. But it’s still important to do the job as well as you can. (Read about cognitive disabilities like dementia and Alzheimer’s on our blog).
