What is it about your job that inspires you?

I want to help people who are unable to help themselves. It’s a pleasure helping people with a task or activity that they want to do, but can’t complete by themselves. I think about my mother, and who would help her if she ever needed it. You don’t know when you’re going to need someone else’s help, and that’s why I like to help people in this job.

Share a favorite memory from home care:

I have been with the same client for a long time, and we have a great relationship. We’ve been called twins, and we’re always holding hands! We also joke a lot, like when I do something for her, and she says “that’s not the way it’s supposed to be done!” with a big smile on her face. And working for the family is a pleasure – I work Monday through Friday for them, and they trust me so much. It’s an honor.

What is the most difficult part of your job?

To tell you the truth, I couldn’t tell you anything bad!

Why should families consider hiring Pennsylvania Agency of Nurses?

Because of the care and the credibility. PAN is very credible – we are always on time, there is always someone to cover, they are never short on people. The client will never be left by themselves.
